Areas of interest for Lake Båven
Please note that the islands that are marked are bird protection areas for certain times of the year.

Prästön
A lovely island to camp on and great cliffs to swim off. Easy to row to and quick to get back to Sandvik. Great for sunsets and BBQ nights.

Djurön
Next to the castle of Vibyholm (a privately own estate). Great for walks and finding remains of old buildings and Viking relics.

Gunnarsholmen
It's quite far but a great place to swim. If you are fit you will easily swim around the island. If you feel it is a bit far with the small boat we can arrange to take you there with our power boat and pick up at an arranged time or phonecall.

Other islands
Other islands to discover are Kalvholmen, and along the coast line from Sandvik going north.

Fishing
For fishing you will be given a special card an another map which indicates the areas that you can go fishing in.

Mushroom picking
For mushroom picking there are no regulations except you must not pick net to someone's house.

- Please watch out for adder snakes when walking.
- We take no responsibility for loss of boat or other equipment, please not that you will be charged if boat/canoe is damaged.
